Digital video collage, HTML artworks, photography, drawing and sound — one practice in several forms.

Vladimir Pykhonin records anticipation and the recurring rituals of everyday life. Some works exist in several forms at once: a sheet of paper, a digital video collage, a generative HTML artwork, a photograph, a sound recording.

The key to these works lies in the “Name First” manifesto: a title is not a caption under an image, but part of the work.

The collection is divided into collections and series and keeps growing. Some works are issued in a limited edition with a certificate of authenticity, the rest are not offered for sale. The originals of some early sheets have not survived: they remain in the collection as archival photographs, but are not offered for sale or exhibition.
